DR. Ankit Bhartia has done MBBS from J.J.M. Medical College, Davangere in 2007, MS in Orthopedics from VSS Medical College, Burla, Sambalpur in 2011 and Fellowship in Arthroscopy & Arthroplasty Shoulder & Knee from Mumbai in 2014. He is also professional membership in Indian Orthopedic Association, International Society for Knowledge for Surgeons on Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty, International Society of Arthroscopy Knee Surgery and Orthopedics Sports Medicines.

Dr Ankit Bhartia area of specialization includes the medical and surgical management of knee replacement, hip replacement spine surgery, shoulder & elbow surgery & sports injuries. He is very proficient in Joint Reconstruction Procedures (Joint Replacements including Primary as well as Revision surgeries) with a vast experience of performing around 500 professional and Olympic athletes in his career.

Bones are the structure of the human body and it plays very important role for working body without bones body feel like jelly organ and a body working only because of them because they working together for complete brain function. Human skeleton has 206 bones without a single bone our body cannot function properly and bones are living tissue it grow with our age and work differently according to human age. Bones are made with calcium and minerals and it support our full body weight and in body doctors finds four types of bones: long, short, flat, and irregular.

  1. Long bones
  2. These bones are involved in locomotion and long as compare other it not just straight its curvy and it grow long according to human height and support body.
